Aja is an African goddess of the forest who understood the medicinal properties of plants.

 

The eland is an African antelope that lives in the savannahs and woodlands and is an herbivore.

 

This work reflects the greens and of the forests and the blues of the streams.

The night sky is symbolized in the vintage Czech glass button on the forehead and the eyes resemble the plants that sustain the eland.
