Elisi - Bison Skull
Elisi is the Cherokee name for grandmother. This beautiful piece demonstrates the majesty and beauty of the bison.
The gold tiles and textured glass on the forehead are surrounded by a mix of Czech glass beads and stained glass.
The detailed butterfly tops the piece and is a symbol for transformation and change - a lesson from the grandmother about the resurrection of the herd after being hunted almost to extinction.
